Etude de quatre niveaux à nombreuses traces de Vertébrés observés dans l'Autunien rouge du Lodévois (carrière d'uranium de la COGEMA). Sur trois d'entre eux, isolément ou en association, existent Dimetropus leisnerianus et Ichniotherium cottae. Ces empreintes dues à des Pélycosauriens, voire à des Thérapsidés primitifs pour D. leisnerianus sont mentionnées pour la première fois dans le Permien français. Elles sont, par contre, connues depuis longtemps dans le Permien allemand.
Un quatrième niveau est riche en Limnopus zeilleri. Laissées par des gros Amphibiens Rachitomes, ces traces sont fréquentes et relativement abondantes dans l'Autunien français. Avec D. leisnerianus, elles permettent d'assigner un âge Autunien supérieur aux divers niveaux palichnologiques et donc de corréler une partie de l'Autunien rouge du Lodévois avec l'Autunien supérieur de la Forêt de Thuringe en R.D.A.
L’étude de l'orientation des traces suggère au sein d'un milieu lacustre, l'existence de zones de passage orientées sensiblement N-S et E-W, zones, peut-être, empruntées par les animaux pour se rendre en période de sécheresse, de la bordure nord du bassin permien vers les zones marécageuses situées à l'ouest.

Study of four levels having a lot of vertebrates footprints observed in red Autunian of Lodevois (in Uranium quarry of COGEMA). On the three areas, lonely or in association, one can see Dimetropus leisnerianus and Ichniotherium cottae. The both trackmakers footprints are Pelycosaurs or perhaps primitive Therapsidsconcerning D. leisnerianus. These two footprints are mentioned for the first time in the French Permian. But, since a long time, they are well known in German Permian.
A fourth palichnological level is rich with Limnopus zeilleri. Made by big Rachitomous Amphibians, these footprints are frequent and somewhat abundant in French Autunian. With D. leisnerianus, they allow to date late Autunian,the different palichnological areas and therefore, to make correlation between a part of red Autunian of Lodevois and the Late Autunian of "Thuringian Wald" in D.D.R.
From the orientation of the trackways, one can say it existed in the dwelling basin, passage ways directed approximatively N-S and E-W. May be they were used by animals during the dry period, going from the North rim of Permian basin to swampy areas localised towards West.
